Along the rolling hills ancient trees stand vigil, their ancient trunks gnarled and bent with age. It was these trees that drew the druids. With their magic, and that which was present inside the magnificent trees already, the druids created elaborate sanctuaries within the trunks. These homes were harmless to the plants, and for some, it created added stability. Intricate arches frame stained glass windows. Magical lights glow within, casting luminous coruscating incandescents onto the ground below. Remnants of this powerful magic drift in the forest air. For the lost, it can lead them home. For those who know not what they seek, it offers guidance. |
