Where there was once a bustling mining town, now only empty shells of buildings remain. In the shadow of ancient, rusted machines, there are an intrepid few who make the Divide their home. Though it could be called a ghost town, life thrives in the mountainous bowl, out in the middle of the desert. It is a sleepy town, quaint and antiquated. Though many of the buildings are dilapidated, there are still some old dusty shops that line the cracked and worn mainstreet. A simple farmer’s market and a blacksmith’s forge are the most notable of businesses. Despite there being more boarded up windows than open doors, the Red Divide is a welcoming place to kebs who enjoy a slower paced lifestyle and simplicity at its very finest. |
