Crystal clear waters glitter in the sun, coruscating like gemstones. The shallows are a window into the life teaming below the waves, as colorful and abundant as the lush tropical flora above. In the distant swells, surfers bob leisurely in a place where there is never a rush. Floating bridges connect overwater bungalows, connecting homes to each other and the shore. On land, palms rustle in the soft salt-laden breeze. Tropical flowers bloom in all colors, points of brightness amongst the verdant broad-leafed plants. White petals drift lazily in the wind, mimicking the snow that never dares to fall on the shores. Branches laden with heavy fruit droop low to share their bounty. |
