Mech Lazard

Domesticated

Due to the restrictions of underground living, regular lazards aren't used as mounts in the UVU. That doesn't mean that the residents of this hub don't want to get around in style though! With advanced magitech on offer down here and a vast collective of kebs skilled enough to tinker with it, it was only a matter of time before mech lazards began popping up around the bustling streets!

Despite residents of the UVU being the initial pioneers of mech lazards, the invention was soon adopted into the Junker hub and are built in the same aesthetic as the moving hub itself! Regular lazards can of course function happily in the desert but there's definitely benefits to building a mech lazard instead such as not having to feed or house them and not having to worry about a beloved mount overheating or growing tired on long journeys.

mech Lazard-Specific Anatomy

Mech lazards mostly follow the anatomy of their living counterparts, for example, being roughly 5'0" at the shoulder with a similar silhouette but can differ vastly in other ways depending on the keb that has built them. Additional forelimbs may be missing, decorative tassels and adornments may be included and paint jobs and LED fittings could be any number of colours if a keb is creative enough to build their lazard as such!

mech Lazards and kebanzu

Mech lazards can only be built and operated by highly skilled magitech kebs; as such, they are elite mounts that aren't easily come by! However, it is possible for any keb to learn the ropes of magitech to become a mech lazard mount designer, builder and rider.

(a new keb ARPG stat and job system is coming soon! Look out for mech lazard mounts in the future)!
